This Southern Coastal Group (SCG) Framework expired on 14th March 2026.
Whilst no new contracts can be entered into under this Framework Agreement, contracts already called-off from it are not impacted by its expiry. These call-off contracts will continue to operate as normal until their contractual end date, governed by the Public Contracts Regulations 2015.
It is the intention of the SCG to reprocure a replacement Professional Services Framework for coastal & flood projects.
Pre-Market Engagement (PME) activities are planned for spring 2026 with a procurement procedure following summer/autumn 2026 for implementation during winter 2026/2027.
It is most likely that Portsmouth City Council will be the lead Authority for the procurement and all opportunities to be involved and/or tender will be advertised on Find a Tender and in accordance with the Procurement Act 2023.
