Alverbank West Seawall Damage

Alverbank West Seawall and promenade have suffered extensive damage following a long period of continuous stormy weather.

The promenade and part of the beach around the damage is unsafe and temporarily closed to the public. Gosport Borough Council are working to get urgent repair works on site and to open the prom, beach and car park at the earliest opportunity.

For your safety, please keep yourself, children and pets away from the fenced area and associated beach.
