Eastoke Emergency Beach Replenishment Works

Over the weekend, significant erosion was recorded along the Eastoke frontage due to severe weather, resulting in a major loss of beach material in several areas. 

Emergency beach replenishment works have been scheduled for 9th – 11th December 2025 and are expected to be completed within three days by Les Searle. Shingle will be moved to restore the affected areas.

Heavy machinery will be operating on the beach throughout this period. For public safety, please maintain a safe distance from the works area at all times.
