Hayling Aids to Navigation Works

Works are being undertaken on the beach to repaint and install replacement Aids to Navigation located at the end of a number of Groynes at Eastoke along with works to the Groyne at West Beach.

The repainting and planking work is due to be undertaken before Easter (weather permitting) with the replacement Aids to Navigation due in April.

The works will take place at low tides times, with limited disruption to beach areas. We ask that you look out for signage which will indicate working areas so please do not enter these areas of the beach when works are in progress. Please take care when the contractor’s equipment is transiting between the compound and work areas.

In addition they will be replacing the planking to the groynes in the mid beach area . The groynes in the above areas are a part of the timber maintenance works, so there will be further timber works in the next financial year.

The compound will be located in a fenced off area of Eastoke Corner Car Park.
