Repairs at East Beach, Selsey
Groyne repairs and enhancement works are being undertaken along East Beach at Selsey. The works will maximise the retention of beach material which ultimately dissipate wave energy and reduce the risk of undermining of sea walls. The contractor will also be undertaking significant repairs to the public slipway to ensure access to the sea is retained.
Our contractors, JT Mackley will be carrying out the works, beginning Monday 29th January 2024, lasting for approximately 3 - 4 weeks on site.
The beach will be open to the public throughout the works but please keep safety in mind and avoid walking close to construction works.
