Seawall Repairs - Swanwick Shore Road

Repairs to the seawall that fronts Swanwick Shore Road Car Park will be taking place in January 2024. 

The work includes repairing defects along the wall to ensure it is fully resilient. Shingle will also be placed at the top of the slipway. 

The repairs will start in mid-January and last for up to two weeks. 

As the work is tidally restricted, the repairs will be carried out within an approximately 7-hour working window around the low tide. Permitted working hours are 7 am to 7 pm, Monday to Friday. 

A section of the car park will be closed for the duration of the work and construction vehicles will be used for the repairs.
