Selsey East Beach Footpath Repairs

We will be carrying out essential patch repairs to the footpath at East Beach, Selsey on behalf of Chichester District Council (CDC). Areas of damage along the footpath need to be resurfaced urgently to maintain good health along the path for safety and access.

The works will be undertaken by Suttle Projects Ltd along with specialist surfacing sub-contractor. They are scheduled to start on site w/c Monday 3rd August and are expected to complete the work by the end of that week.

The works extents are just north of Drift Road in the north to Lifeboat Way in the south. A small, temporary storage compound will be utilised at the East Beach car park (see the map below).

We appreciate the unfortunate timing of these works at the beginning of the busy summer holiday period, but we will endeavour to complete within the week and apologise for any inconvenience caused.

The beach will remain open to the public, but the small work areas will be cordoned off. Please pay attention to the safety warning signage and follow the diversions as instructed.
