Urgent Repair Works Southsea West
Emergency repair works are being carried out to remove protruding metal cables from the beach at Southsea Beach West following the effects of storm ‘Bella’ in December 2020.
Contractors, Avon Construction Ltd will be undertaking the work, which begins on Friday 15th January 2021 and is expected to take approximately 1 day to complete. The exposed materials are located within the intertidal zone, therefore work will be undertaken to fit in with low tides.
All essential health and safety procedures will be adhered to as well as Government Covid-19 safe working guidance. We ask you to remain clear of the work for your safety.
