Winners of the Flood & Coast Excellence Award 2024

We are extremely proud and excited to announce that with our friends and partners at Portsmouth City Council, Volker Stevin, Boskalis Westminster, Royal HaskoningDHV, Idadesign and Wessex Archaeology that our trailblazing Southsea Coastal Scheme has won the Environment Agency’s Flood & Coast Excellence Award in the ‘Climate Resilient Places’ category for Frontage 1 at Long Curtain Moat!.

The award recognises project excellence in this category, with some tough competition and over 90 submissions to the awards.

Building strong relationships with consultees such as Historic England has been key for driving the innovations at Sub-Frontage 1; The Inspector of Ancient Monuments at Historic England agrees:

“The south coast of England is steeped in cultural heritage. Working alongside organisations like Coastal Partners, we are ensuring that these special historic places can be enjoyed for generations to come.”

We're incredibly proud of this great achievement, it's a testament to the team's hard work over the last few years.
