Eastney Splashwall Concrete Repairs

Work will be carried out to areas in need of repair along Eastney Splashwall to extend the life of the ageing coastal defence, prior to the commencement of the Southsea Coastal Scheme.

Works will commence 9^th September 2019, taking 1-2 weeks to complete.

Where and what will happen?

The areas in need of repair along the splashwall will be prepared and filled with concrete.

The work is being carried out by Norse South East Ltd. and will take place Monday to Friday from 7am-7pm. Maintenance works are funded by Portsmouth City Council. 

What will you experience?

The promenade will remain open to the public throughout the works. Localised barrier fencing will surround each repair area, so at times the width of the promenade will be restricted.
