Spur Redoubt Revetment – Concrete Repairs

Spur Redoubt Revetment – Concrete Repairs

Concrete repairs will be carried out to areas in need of repair along the Spur Redoubt Revetment to remove the health and safety concerns and minimise the deterioration of the revetment, prior to the commencement of the Southsea Coastal Scheme.

Works will commence 23rd September 2019, taking approximately six days to complete.

Where and what will happen?

The damaged areas along the revetment will be prepared and filled with concrete. A small dumper truck will be used to transport the concrete from the compound to the works area.

The work is being carried out by Earlcoate Construction and Plant Hire Ltd. and will take place Monday to Friday from 7am-7pm. Maintenance works are funded by Portsmouth City Council.
