Bio
Dan started working for Coastal Partners as a Casual Assistant Coastal Surveyor in 2013 before starting his apprenticeship in 2014 and undertook his HND Construction and Sustainable Built Environment and Level 5 Construction Management courses. Dan continued to progress in Coastal Partners becoming Engineering Surveyor after completing his TSA Surveying Course with The Survey Association. Dan continued to lead the delivery of the Southeast Strategic Coastal Monitoring Programme and the Geomatics Division and services. In 2022, Dan transferred to Hampshire County Council to become CAD Surveyor and manage 3D Data Capture for the Engineering Services department. In 2024 Dan returned to Coastal Partners as Senior Engineering Surveyor. Dan has a passion for Land Surveying with particular interest in 3D mapping and modelling using latest software & technology involving Photogrammetry and Laser Scanning.
In his spare time, Dan has a passion for football, and coaches his son’s team, as well as playing guitar in a band.
