Hilary Ferres

Bio

Hilary joined Coastal Partners on secondment from Natural England to help deliver the Regional Habitat Creation Programme in the Solent. Hilary completed a BSc in Oceanography and Marine Biology at Southampton University and then worked as a science officer for a marine conservation project in the Philippines. After completing an MSc in Coastal Management at Newcastle University, Hilary worked as an Environmental Scientist for Royal Haskoning. During this time she undertook environmental assessments for coastal defence and port development projects as well as for various Shoreline Management Plans. In 2010, Hilary moved to the south coast and started working for Natural England, handily covering the same patch as the Coastal Partners.
