Bio
Katie achieved an MSci in Oceanography from the University of Southampton, where she developed a strong interest in coastal systems and flooding. After graduating in 2020, Katie assisted Coastal Partners with beach surveys for the Tracer Pebble studies at Hurst Spit. Following this, she worked as a hydrographic surveyor, facilitating offshore construction support and maintenance of offshore wind farms all around the UK. Katie took a full-time position on the Engineering Team in June 2022 and is currently getting involved with the management of Gosport Coastal Defence Scheme and asset management projects.
