Lorraine has worked for the Council for 27 years. She started in 1990 in the Community Charge section then in 1993 moved to work in the Finance section as an Assistant Accountant, moving into a Management Accountancy role from 1996 to 2005. Whilst on maternity leave Lorraine was poached to head up the recovery section for Sundry debts and Council Tax, monitoring the Capita contract. Since 2013 her main focus has been committing people to prison for non-payment of Council Tax. In October 2015 she was seconded to the Coastal partners to manage their timesheet costing system and project finances.
