Project Managers/Assistant Project Managers
Working across the capital project portfolio these roles provide experienced project management and design management during the design and construction phases of our projects. The role involves leading or assisting with the project management function and managing a wide range of stakeholders. Project Managers (PM) are given responsibility for programme, budget, quality and scope. They manage work packages and report progress to a wide audience of interested stakeholders. They also devise and execute procurement strategies for external suppliers of both professional services and construction works. Assistant PMs support our PMs with all aspects and project work packages to develop and train their skills for role progression Design Management is a primary function of the role, working closely alongside and managing our framework consultant design partners including management of NEC Professional Services Contracts.
You will need a degree in civil engineering or closely related discipline and applications are welcome from experienced candidates, graduates and final year students, with relevant training provided to support your role as part of an integrated design team.
Site Supervisors/Site Engineers
Working with the client team on our live construction sites you will support the NEC Project Manager in monitoring the construction works, resolving technical issues, undertaking tests, inspections and surveys along with daily record keeping, stakeholder liaison and Health & Safety checks. You will work alongside our senior supervisors and contract managers to successfully deliver the construction phase of our coastal engineering capital and maintenance projects.
You will have knowledge of civil engineering process, and construction methods and keen to apply your skills and experience to problem solve site issues. You will need a degree in civil engineering or closely related discipline and applications are welcome from experienced candidates, graduates and final year students, with relevant training provided to support your role as part of an integrated site team.
