As a member of Design Services, you will help to protect communities and shape our coastal landscape for future generations. Working across a variety of ground-breaking studies, design and construction projects, successful candidates will have the opportunity to be involved in all areas of the team’s work. We are particularly interested in knowledgeable candidates with experience, or interest in the below:
Design Management Team Leader

Design Manager
Our Design Managers are responsible for planning, coordinating and controlling the design process to ensure that designs are developed, reviewed and delivered on time, within budget and in compliance with project requirements, standards and regulations. They act as the key link between the client, designers, contractors and other stakeholders, managing programme, resolving technical issues and coordinating multidisciplinary teams. The Design Manager also supports value engineering, change control and quality assurance activities, helping to ensure that the completed design can be efficiently constructed and operated throughout the asset's lifecycle. The Design Manager will scope, procure and manage our design partners and take on the NEC PSC Service Manager role, while supporting the Project Management and Site Supervision team with technical aspects of the project.
You will need a degree in civil engineering or closely related discipline. Applications are welcomed from experienced candidates looking to take the next step in their career. This is a career graded post with the initial salary dependent on experience and qualifications.
