Engineering Technician
Grade D £20,904 - £22,627
Permanent Position (37 hours)
This is an exciting opportunity to join a busy multi-disciplinary team managing coastal flood and erosion risk on the south coast.
Working in the Operations Team on a wide variety of coastal maintenance projects, you will be involved in activities ranging from topographic surveys to supervising the maintenance of coastal assets.
You will gain experience in Beach Management operations, asset management and the opportunity to undertake regular coastal monitoring surveys. You will also be involved with UAV flights and could have the opportunity to train and become a UAV Pilot.
Suitable applicants will require a HNC in Civil Engineering or Construction in the Built Environment or related discipline. Experience in topographic surveying and familiarity with computer software applications, including CAD, GIS and digital terrain packages would be an advantage.
