Alverstoke Coastal Defence Scheme - January 2022 Update
The scheme to the improve flood defences at Alverstoke commenced in January 2022.
Work is underway along the footpath at the western end of Stoke Lake to prepare the area for construction. The footpath is closed to the public and an alternative route is in place.
When completed, the new defences will offer protection to many houses, community amenities, and infrastructure from the impact of flooding.
