North Portsea Island Phase 4b Update - Week 9

At the Andrew Simpson Watersports Centre the scheme is rebuilding a section of the slipway and adding a flood gate at the top of the slipway.

First, we broke out the concrete that formed the old slipway, next we imported and compacted stone to raise the level, before finally pouring the concrete in sections called “bays” to form the new section of slipway.
