Coastal Partners provide a Coastal Defence Management Service to Havant Borough Council, Portsmouth City Council, Gosport Borough Council and Fareham Borough Council. This service reduces the risks to people and the environment from coastal flooding and erosion. This area includes three major harbours of significant environmental importance and over 160km of coastline.
Are you an ambitious and innovative self-starter looking for a new opportunity in Communications and Marketing? We are looking for a specialist for a new exciting post within our Assurance Team that will play a major role in delivering the communications and marketing function across our service.
Candidates must hold a degree level professional qualification in Marketing, Media or other appropriate qualifications with relevant level of experience. You will be using your expert knowledge and experience of all aspects of marketing. You will assist in ascertaining market potential, understanding competition, develop and implement campaigns and strategies to raise awareness. You will generate ideas to promote the Partnership branding and promotional activities.
You will use your specialist communications skills (verbal and written), innovation and experience across multiple digital channels, designing, creating, developing and implementing publications and communication plans. You will be a creative thinker highly organised and able to work on multiple projects/clients at a time. You will have the ability to convey technical or complex information simply, effectively and creatively. Experience of the public sector is an advantage although not essential. At present this role will be predominately home working with occasional office work subject to permission and H&S clearance.
