Work is progressing on the Portsmouth City Council North Portsea Island Phase 4 scheme. Before our contractor Mackley starts work on the defences next to the coastal path, a section of the coastal path will be temporarily closed from 1st July 2020, as shown in the map below.
Work begins on the first stage, Kendall's Wharf, on 25th November 2019 and will continue until Spring 2020. The works include the construction of an earth embankment and wall, as well as raising the access road into Kendall's Wharf.
